A tipster discovered an image of Google's entire Pixel 10 series through the Play Store's code. The image, which seems to be official promotional material, showcased the base model in its alleged "indigo," as well as the other phones in a Moonstone.

India has the second largest number of app developers registered on the Google Play Store. The ecosystem has generated 35 lakh direct and indirect jobs.

The NCLAT, however, overruled several of the more stringent behavioural remedies imposed on Google by the CCI. The CCI had, in its ruling, asked Google to allow third-party app stores within the Play Store, uninstallation of pre-installed apps, and side-loading of apps.

Google has appealed to the Supreme Court against a March 2025 NCLAT ruling that supported CCI's findings of the company's alleged unfair practices in the Android ecosystem, particularly regarding Play Store policies and Google Pay promotion.
