I mean, everyone messes up my name, so I give up. I don’t care. I’ll answer Kris-sten, Kur-sten, Keer-sten…I don't blame people. Like in England, they don't really say my name right. It's Keer-sten, yeah. But, again, who cares?⁠ [smiling] It’s fine.

Despite the frequent mispronunciations, Dunst said she doesn’t hold it against anyone. She shared that she answers to a full squad of names, from “Kristen” to various versions of “Kirsten,” but isn’t in the business of “blaming people.”

Kirsten Dunst is setting the record straight. During a video interview with Town & Country magazine, she revealed the proper way to pronounce her name after she said many people have been saying it wrong this whole time.
