W ith cooler temperatures on the horizon and the promise of changing leaves in the air, Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites is inviting travelers to experience one of the most colorful times of year.

Authorities, including the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Marine Unit, Fire Department and Georgia State Patrol responded to reports of two men missing around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The men set out on a kayak and paddleboard from their cove without their cellphones, intending to explore the lake.
