HOUSTON, Texas – A man is dead after a shooting inside a home in Houston’s East End Thursday morning. Houston police say the shooting happened around midnight at a home where multiple people lived. Officers initially said the suspect fled the scene on foot, but investigators later confirmed they have located the suspect.

Houston police say a woman shot her neighbor after he knocked on her apartment door and rang her doorbell several times early Wednesday morning.

HPD said that one man is in stable condition while the shooter fled the scene on foot.

Police say a woman in her late 70s died after a gunfight with masked home invasion suspects, both of whom were wounded and taken to the hospital.

An indecency suspect with a knife was shot by two deputies, and one of the deputies was stabbed in the arm.
