After Sweden and Switzerland traded goals to make the score 2-1 for Sweden, Willander nearly scored another power play goal, hammering a one-timer from the point that pinged off the post.

Poor discipline by Sweden helped keep Switzerland in the game, as they would add another power play goal with just over five minutes left by Andro Kaderli to close the gap even more at 7-4.

OTTAWA – Switzerland got off to a great start, outshooting Sweden 10-2 at one point. But it didn’t take long for the Swedes to take control, ultimately winning the game 7-5 on Sunday.
