HOUSTON, Texas ( KIAH ) – There’s another chance of storms, some possibly severe, later today and tonight, across our northern counties first, and then diminishing chances south into Harris County.

"Once the water recedes, Smith County Road and Bridge crews will check to make sure the roads are not damaged and if they are safe to be reopened," officials said.
