Tropical Cyclone Alfred is looking more likely to make landfall in Brisbane's northern suburbs, with the worst impacts to be felt to the south of the system, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
"For the rest of Thursday, we will continue to see Tropical Cyclone Alfred moving west towards the southeast Queensland coast and northeast New South Wales,” the bureau said in a bulletin.
