The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 3:11 a.m. EST on Thursday in effect until 7 p.m. EST for Ottawa County.

On Thursday at 2:41 a.m. a winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 10 p.m. until Saturday 1 a.m. for Oswego County.

On Wednesday at 3:20 p.m. the NWS Newport/Morehead City NC issued a winter weather advisory valid from 6 p.m. until Thursday 10 a.m. The advisory is for Martin, Pitt, Greene, Duplin and Lenoir counties.
