The Camp House Fire has destroyed 144 structures, according to an update around 11 p.m. from St. Louis County Sheriff Gordon Ramsay. The Jenkins Creek Fire had left a "couple structures destroyed and damaged," per Ramsay, though "the fire is too active in the area to check and get more details on those buildings that were lost."

A second wildfire in northeastern Minnesota exploded on Monday, and it's not far from the Camp House fire that has torched at least 750 acres and destroyed multiple cabins near the town of Brimson. The Jenkins Creek Fire, located approximately 14 miles southeast of Hoyt Lakes, started around 11 a.m., according to authorities.

The U.S. Forest service says say the Camp House fire has burned over 12,000 acres and 140 structures have been destroyed.

The bar has had some “rude” rubberneckers treating the tragedy “like a bonfire,” said Jessica Willemarck, but by and large, the proprietors have seen “just a lot of concerned people trying to figure out what’s all going on.”

The Camp House Fire near Brimson has grown to 750 acres as of Monday morning. It was zero-percent contained as crews worked on the ground and from the air to douse the flames.
