As soon as former USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams began his college football career, he was praised as the eventual No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft. His play at USC certainly backed up those statements, making plays that left fans saying nothing other than that this kid was special.

It may have taken the Chicago Bears a year longer than it should've, but it certainly sounds like they've added the perfect mentor for Caleb Williams.

The Chicago Bears continue to prioritize Caleb Williams this offseason. After hiring new head coach Ben Johnson and shoring up the offensive line, the Bears signed veteran quarterback Case Keenum to a one-year deal to serve as a mentor in the quarterback room -- and perhaps even contend for the backup job.
