Chicago White Sox catcher Kyle Teel on making his MLB debut Friday: “This is a dream come true. I’m trying to soak it all in. … It’s really special.”

The Chicago White Sox have called up another one of their top prospects, catcher Kyle Teel. To make room, they've sent down another young catcher to AAA Charlotte, Korey Lee. Teel will start behind the plate while batting sixth on Friday night in his Major League Baseball debut against the Kansas City Royals.

In a heartwarming clip posted by the White Sox, Teel called his parents to tell them the good news. He first called his mom, asking her if she had any plans, and — when she said no — telling her she needed to book a flight to Chicago.
