Tennessee still has holes in its defense, however, and they lack depth across the board. Fortunately, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that the team was re-signing veteran defensive lineman James Lynch to a one-year contract to mitigate that.

Tennessee is re-signing defensive tackle James Lynch to a one-year deal, per the NFL Network. The 6-4, 295-pound Lynch played in all 17 games for the Titans last season, totaling 245 defensive snaps and recording 20 tackles, two tackles for loss, one sack, two quarterback hits and two passes defensed last season.
