Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Jordan Mailata had a press conference on Wednesday and mentioned high praise for one player.

It's a moniker given to every team coming off a title-winning season: defending champion. Just don't call the 2025 Philadelphia Eagles that, as Jordan Mailata, Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni are all intent to keep their eyes only on the quest ahead.

"Oh man, he’s going to be special, man," Mailata said. "His burst. He has tendencies like Micah [Parsons], just to be able to cut on a dime like that… How did I go from Josh Sweat to Jalyx? It's crazy! I'm like, 'Howie, give me a break for one year, Jesus!' Jalyx is going to be a star.”
