Francisco Lindor shook off an injury and delivered the go-ahead runs in a clutch pinch-hit at-bat for the Mets.

Just when another night of anguish with RISP appeared ready to spell R.I.P. for the Mets, a wounded star came to the rescue.

After missing the previous two games with a fractured pinky toe, Francisco Lindor was called called upon to pinch-hit in the top of the ninth inning of a 2-2 game against the Colorado Rockies. Lindor didn’t disappoint, hitting a two-run double with two outs that eventually gave the Mets a 4-2 win at Coors Field.
