Freezing rain and snow — lots of snow — are coming into southern Manitoba, bringing a slate of weather warnings.

The City of Brandon and much of Westman is under an orange blizzard warning Wednesday morning, with 10 to 20 centimetres of snow, strong winds and low visibility expected to blanket the region.

It's only the 13th known case of adoption out of the 4,600 bears studied for nearly five decades in the northern Canadian area.
