Sony Pictures Entertainment has promoted Keith Le Goy to chairman of Sony Pictures Television to succeed Ravi Ahuja, who became president and CEO of SPE at the beginning of the month.

Keith Le Goy, who has been with the studio for more than 25 years, has been named chairman of Sony Pictures TV. He succeeds Ravi Ahuja, who moved up to president and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment following the departure of Tony Vinciquerra.

Sony Pictures Television has a new chairman. The company has named Keith Le Goy, who was Chairman, Worldwide Distribution and Networks, Sony Pictures Entertainment, to the position. It comes after Ravi Ahuja,

Le Goy most recently served as Sony Pictures Television’s president of distribution, where he oversaw the studio’s combined television and home entertainment distribution as well as its marketing division. In the role, he also led SPE’s cable networks in Latin America and Europe.

Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) has upped distribution chief Keith Le Goy to become chairman of Sony Pictures Television (SPT). Le Goy will now lead all of SPT’s domestic and international production, including the gameshow business and GSN (Game Show Network).
