Padraig Harrington isn’t much of a leaderboard watcher. At the Senior Open on Sunday, he also wasn't much of a Rory McIlroy watcher.

Harrington is the fifth player – after Darren Clarke, Tom Watson, Gary Player and Bob Charles – to add the Senior Open to Open Championship victory, having lifted the Claret Jug at Carnoustie in 2007 and again the following year at Royal Birkdale.

Pádraig Harrington secured senior major number three and a first Senior Open title after a strong final round of 67 helped him to a three shot win at Sunningdale in Berkshire.
