General Manager Mike Grier announced today that the club has claimed forward Walker Duehr. Duehr, 27, has appeared in 16 games with the Calgary Flames this season, registering one assist. He appeared in a career-high 40 games with the Flames in 2023-24,

Walker Duehr’s time in Calgary has come to an end. After the Flames put the 27-year-old winger on waivers on Tuesday, he was claimed by the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday morning. It brings an end to Duehr’s nearly four-year tenure with the organization.

Duehr, a 27-year-old Sioux Falls, South Dakota native, has no goals and one assist over 16 NHL appearances this season. He was waived Tuesday by the Flames and has averaged just under 9 minutes of ice time per game he has played.
