Dec 15, 2023 · What Kamiya means by "art" isn't what western devs mean by "art". When a western dev calls a game art they're really saying it has a lot of cutscenes and has a story. When Kamiya talks about videogames as art he's purely talking about how investing and expressive the gameplay systems can be.

He has been asked the same questions so many times, at this point he will link to a thread that answers most FAQs and/or block the person. However there is some miniscule possibility that the recording studio wrote for him, which would mean they're in deep shit from all sides.
