A cute beach escape just 10 minutes from Ku’damm 🏖️ 📍Halensee Today, it feels like a chic little summer break in West Berlin, but this lakeside spot has a surprisingly wild past. In the early 1900s, the area was home to Luna Park, one of Europe’s largest amusement parks, with rides, fireworks, performances and huge crowds coming all the way to the end of Ku’damm. Now you’ll find Das Halensee here: a beach, park and restaurant by the water, located at Koenigsallee 5a-b, close to S-Bhf Halensee.
