Bakersfield, Calif.- Bakersfield Police officers were investigating an apparent Christmas Day murder-suicide late Thursday night at a Bakersfield residence, police said. Officers with the Bakersfield Police Department responded to a reported shooting at about 10:11 p.m. Thursday in the 2700 block of Blade Avenue.
