The way we talk about face shape in hairdressing is absolute crap. It’s borderline offensive and it needs to change. Telling someone what they can or can’t have because of their “face shape” is limiting, outdated and honestly, insulting. A haircut should bring someone forward, not push them back. It should celebrate the person in your chair, honour their facial architecture, and frame them in a way that feels like them. Not rules. Not restrictions. Just good hair, shaped around real people. . #f
