Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the glacial outburst flood in Juneau, AK this weekend. The Mendenhall River reached a record 15 feet late Saturday and early Sunday. The flood destroyed two buildings and obstructed several roads. Glacial outburst floods are relatively new phenomena in Juneau.
