A solo I did in 2022 for my students, Lola! One of the harder solos because the music was a beautiful road map - weaving in and out of melodies and dynamics ❤️ It’s almost like a blank canvas with a background guide on where to go! Picking a song with a landscape for artistry is always my first thought! Lola also was a VERY technical dancer and I knew she could handle the strong/soft content with an upper body flow of a ballerina! I also love exploring the calmer side of myself, sometimes!!! 🙈
