Babs the Serotine Bat – Update 🦇 Babs continues to win hearts here at Secret World Wildlife Rescue. Despite her feisty start, she’s genuinely one of the most gentle little characters — happy to sit calmly and take her mealworms with perfect manners. She’s had a minor setback recently, losing a little weight, and we’ve discovered she has internal helminths (parasitic worms). The feisty Serotine bat we recently admitted has officially been named Babs by the team – and she’s doing really well! 🦇 She’s learnt to feed herself and is growing stronger every day. Check out the video for some adorable eating noises! Next up for Babs is some flight testing and building up her weight.
