🎉Join us in celebrating 20 years of the Cherokee National Youth Choir!! The Cherokee National Youth Choir performs traditional and contemporary songs in the Cherokee language. The choir was founded as a way to keep tribal youth involved with Cherokee language and culture. We love our traditional Cherokee stories! Roy Boney, who oversees the Cherokee Nation Language department, has created an illustrated version of the story of the Cherokees fleeing their home island on canoes.
