Core words are p— problematic. Plenty of experts will say this to me in private, but few will say it in public, because it is such a dominant teaching method. Does your child only know one sign: “more?” Can they only make one phrase in their AAC: “I want X?” The problem isn’t with your child, it’s with the teaching method.
